Product Overview

Implementation of The Creative Curriculum® and GOLD™ is most successful when teachers receive ongoing, positive support and when they have time to become familiar with and practice using the materials. While workshops, multi-day training sessions, and online professional development modules can help teachers build their knowledge about curriculum and assessment in general, teachers also benefit from continued, individualized coaching to translate new knowledge into practice.

If you provide direct classroom support to teachers as an administrator, supervisor, staff developer, mentor teacher, or coach, our coaching solutions are for you. Your help will lead teachers to establish dynamic classrooms and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Coaching to Fidelity, Preschool Edition

Set your staff up for success and help to improve outcomes for every child by building the knowledge and skills they need to implement The Creative Curriculum for Preschool and GOLD with fidelity. These supportive new resources help anyone providing in-classroom support to teachers allowing them individualize their coaching support. With Coaching to Fidelity, you can help guide every teacher toward successful implementation.

Inside Coaching to Fidelity, which uses The Fidelity Tool (see below) as a first step toward assessing implementation, you will find:

  • individualized coaching that helps teachers translate new knowledge into practice;
  • specific guidance on what to look for when observing in classrooms and what constitutes effective feedback;
  • supportive suggestions on how best to nurture a successful coach–teacher relationship;

The Fidelity Tool, Preschool Edition

The Fidelity Tool, Infants, Toddlers & Twos Edition

The Fidelity Tool assesses how well The Creative Curriculum and GOLD are being implemented in every classroom. Newly expanded to support both preschool and infants, toddlers, and twos classrooms, it combines an administrator tool, which helps observers rate the evidence of implementation and generate scores for overall fidelity, with a teacher checklist that gives teachers the opportunity for self–assessment and self–improvement in their implementation.

  • helps observers to easily rate the evidence of implementation and generate scores for overall fidelity
  • offers a starting point for providing feedback and guiding ongoing professional development
  • provides teachers with valuable guidance on their use of the Daily Resources, on setting up the classroom environment, on teacher-child interactions, and on assessing children’s learning
  • features detailed, itemized checklists of implementation items and indicators to help illuminate any areas that may need strengthening
